Founder & CEO
Paul founded Drill Spot in 2005, and he attributes much of the company’s success to hiring the best employees. This strategy, combined with his visionary ideas about what Internet retail in the Industrial Supply, MRO, and Home Improvement categories should look like has helped Drill Spot land on the Inc 500 top retailer list every year since 2009. Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and three dogs, and he loves keeping up with all the latest gadgets.
Melissa joined Drill Spot in 2012 and brings with her nearly 15 years of corporate experience, particularly in the software and project management fields. This expertise has proved invaluable as she focuses on strategic initiatives to help grow and improve Drill Spot’s operations, from soup to nuts. Melissa received her BS from CU Denver, and she and her husband live in Boulder where she enjoys baking and reading in her spare time.
Patrick was one of Drill Spot’s first employees, and under his direction, the IT department has become the foundation of the company. He strives to stay on top of the newest technologies that can be employed by Drill Spot to continuously improve our systems and level of service. He and his family live just outside of Boulder, and when not studying, Patrick can be found journaling, mountain biking, or playing video games with his kids.
Debra grew up in Wisconsin, studying at UWM and MATC and brings with her twenty years of accounting experience and a hearty helping of Packer pride. She loves working with Drill Spot’s passionate, enthusiastic people and enjoys the amazing scenic views her commute to Boulder provides each day.
eCommerce Marketing Director
Allison began her tenure with Drill Spot in 2010, and she has over 10 years of experience in industries such as eCommerce, consumer packaged goods, and software. She studied Business at CU Boulder and has her MBA in Marketing, and she uses that education to drive the direction of the company’s eCommerce and Marketing efforts. Allison lives near Boulder, where she enjoys reading, gardening, and hiking with her son.
Customer Service Supervisor
With nearly 10 years of customer service experience, most of it in Internet retail, Paul’s expertise is key to the way Drill Spot does business. His focus on expedient and proactive service helps ensure that our customers have the best experience possible. While not at work, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and pets, golfing, and reading comic books.
