The fan itself is great, the installation was next to impossible. The flange on the inside of the wall is to be mounted 1/4" from the edge of the drywall where there is nothing to back it up. It will cause the drywall to crumble everytime. Fortunately, this was a new install with no dry wall up yet.... Read full review

Excellent! I bought this as a replacement for the Broan 655-A that I installed in the early 90's. I did not have to remove the old unit from the ceiling. We have a much older version of this fan (from the mid-80s I'm guessing). The fan had stopped running and there was a lot of dust caked around the heater, making it impossible to use without stink.
