This bench was easy to assemble. You'll need to drill some holes to mount the top to the frame, but that is about it. The top is smooth and mine was nice an level. Great product for home or commercial shop. Plenty of work space and storage on top riser. Very sturdy, easy to put together with exception of lifting the counter top (careful it's very heavy, need at least two strong people to lift).
