  The laser itself is described as having a dot. However, at close range it has more of a line than a dot. This set of lenses took care of the problem and it was better than using a piece of tape over the laser opening to change the size of the light. Read full review

  If you only make measurements in 10ths or 100ths of an inch then this product is great. Although, if you desire to make measurements in fractions of an inch then this product is almost unusable.
