  I bought this sensor so I could lockout the auxilliary heating stage of a geothermal heat pump. According to Honeywell's literature the sensor would allow me to configure the HZ432 zone control system to select an outdoor temperature to lock out the 2nd or 3rd stage.   This wall cover mount is eye appealing dressing to hide the mollies and holes from the former thermostat and does so nicely, as the thermostat itself is not large enough to hide the eyesores. This cover mount is large enough and a thoughtful design idea from Honeywell. Read full review
