  This is a two-part filter. The short green and white piece attaches into the 4" sanitary tee. The tall green, easily removed filter cleans up nicely with the occasional hosing off.   Been using this filtering system since 1990. Never a problem Filters as good as a $3,000 dollar system somebody tried to sell me. Compared water I was getting with their fancy test kit. Just as good if not better. They left without a sale. Read full review

  Aquapure products are good (but could be better), but too expensive. The water in Plano, TX tastes like mud in the summer. The 517 works fine, but only for 1-2 months. Much better in the winter.Read full review
