I was looking for a saw that could cut metal without the sparks and dust of an abrasive chop saw, but not at the cost of of "cold cut", "dry cut" or "wet cut" chop saws. This saw does it. I've made a few cuts with it so far and have been impressed. First cut was a half inch ACME thread steel rod. Cut through with no problems at all. I wish the clamping system was a little better, but my use for it isn't typical woodworking. Read full review
