Good Enough

First off, this thing is super heavy. No way it can be moved about by a single normal person. So it is no surprise that the table top arrived with some damage. It was not enough to return it however. The legs are rather low-end products and one of the two steel leg pieces was bent. I had to torque it into position after screwing it on. The table top was flat but I was not satisfied with the finish: I sanded it with 240 grit paper and put 2 coats of urethane on it. Then sanded it with 400 for the final coat. Now it is fine. I do not see why the leg holes were not drilled at the factory- it would have made assembly easier. The design of the legs precludes the use of a side-mounted table vice. It is easy to build a lower shelf if you wish from a plank or from plywood.

Good Quality, Easy To Assemble

This bench was easy to assemble. You'll need to drill some holes to mount the top to the frame, but that is about it. The top is smooth and mine was nice an level. I also bought the lower-shelf, riser, and edge-stops, all of which fit perfectly as well. In the end though, what sold me on this was the free-shipping. There are several manufacturers that make similar tables with available accessories, but getting this with free shipping made a huge difference in the final cost. It was delivered within 2 days as well.
