Friday, December 23, 2011This is a two-part filter. The short green and white piece attaches into the 4" sanitary tee. The tall green, easily removed filter cleans up nicely with the occasional hosing off. What I didn't understand is that the so-called permanent piece down in the 4" tee also must be cleaned. I learned about that the hard way. It gets just as clogged as the removable filter. Buyers beware.
