Great For Air And Aquarium Temps
Wednesday, February 15, 2012Great digital thermometer! Water and air temp accuracy is spot on and feels well made. Also a little cheaper and definately more robust and feature rich than the ones sold in pet stores. It's also AAA powered which is alot more convienent than button cell batteries. Would deffinately buy another if I need a second.
Large (for it's size) display, user settable high and low temp alarms, generous probe legnth, AAA powered, waterproof
While the single led backlight is enough to read the screen at night, it would be better if it had more. It would also be better if the backlight stayed on when you pushed the button until you pushed it again instead of only staying on while you hold the button down
Handy And Accurate
Monday, July 11, 2011This is very good value. It has alarm for high setting and it couldn't be more accurate in its readings. The cord is soooo long, but better than too short. Thanks Drillspot.
High/low temp setting with alarm
Nothing could be better. Hopefully it will last for a while
Nifty aquarium thermometer
Thursday, June 16, 2011This is an excellent aquarium thermometer. Its probe is sturdy. Comparison with my laboratory thermometers show it to be quite accurate. It reads to a precision of 0.1°F (I and I think to 0.1° C). It has an easy to read display. It has a nice alarm system that will alert us if the temperature exceeds high and low limits we can set. It will also read the room temperature. The display can be lit. I haven't really tried that at night. It operates from a single AAA battery, more economical in the case of replacement than the button cells often used in such devices.
What I don't like is that I filled out this review in the form that came with your e-mail and it wouldn't go. Had I not been able to copy and paste, I would have just said "forget it".
