Clamp-On Shaft Adapters
- Offer a simple design to modify and extend an existing shaft. A shaft connected to a 2-pc. coupling makes it easy to shrink, enlarge, extend or repair a shaft. By tightening 4 alloy steel socket head cap screws, the coupling end of the adapter has a secure hold that will not mar existing shaft. Made from mild steel with a black oxide finish. Step-up adapters make shaft larger; step-down adapters make shaft smaller.
