Template Mortise-Mount Hinges
- Steel hinges have standard preplated countersunk holes arranged in a half-moon shape. Square hinges mount into recessed cutouts, attaching doors to frames. Use ball-bearing hinges with door closers to reduce friction in high-traffic areas. Removable pins make frequent door removal easier, while nonremovable pins provide increased security. Safety hinges have concealed bearings to prevent tampering and tapered tips to help prevent suicide attempts. All hinges are mounted with #12 screws except for 3" hinges, which use #9 screws. Hardware included.
