Tuesday, December 13, 2011I don't know how I've made it this long without this tool. Actually, I do, I just guess and check my miter cuts, until I find what works. When cutting complex miters, this tool is indispensible. It totally takes the guess work out of cutting.
It is very easy to use, and easy to read. It seems durable and well made
It could stand to be a bit larger. Or, perhaps make a larger model in addition. The small one is good for tight spaces

Tuesday, December 06, 2011This is just the tool I was looking for. I have installed a lot of molding and got pretty good at estimating the inside corner angles after the first cut. This tool will help reduce time wasted in trial and error cutting.
It is easy to read and very simple to use. The manufacturer, Starrett, is a very reputable source for all sorts of measuring equipment
