The PosiTector 6000 F3 is a rugged, fully electronic coating thickness gauge that uses magnetic and eddy current principles to measure non-magnetic coatings over ferrous metals like steel and cast iron. The DeFelsko F3 comes ready to measure, no calibration adjustment required for most applications.
Features an enhanced one-handed menu navigation, high contrast backlit and flashing display, and built-in temperature compensation to ensures measurement accuracy. Meter body is durable, solvent, acid, oil, water and dust resistant as well as weatherproof. USB port allows for fast, simple connection to a PC and to supply continuous power. Functions as a USB mass storage device; stored readings and graphs can be accessed using universal PC/Mac web browsers or file explorers, no software required. Scan mode allows the user to take continuous readings without lifting the probe. Advanced features include Bluetooth technology for wireless data transfer to a PC or printer, real time graphing, ability to determine if film thickness over a large area conforms to user-specified min/max levels, and ability to determine if a coating system complies with an IMO performance standard for protective coatings.
