Works Great for My Application
Tuesday, November 22, 2011I am using this relay to control a circulator pump in a domestic hot water recirculation system. Momentary switches at point-of-use locations (kitchen sink, bathroom sink & washing machine) trigger the relay which is set to allow water to circulate just long enough to purge the cold water from the hot water pipe (returning it to the water heater). This allows for almost instant hot water, without any waste. Easy to wire and including the cost of the circulator pump, about half the price of a Taco D'Mand system.
