Description
The Air King 9020 Industrial Grade Multi Mount Fan features pull cord operation and a 3-paddle fan blade. The 9020 has a permanently lubricated motor with a 9 foot, 18/3 cord set and is constructed of sturdy, powder coated steel. Ideal for gyms, auditoriums, schools, churches and industrial spaces that need powerful air circulation.

Waiting for final determination - not happy
Friday, July 08, 2011Drillspot promptly shipped out my order of this new air circulation fan. I went right out an lag bolted the mounting bracket to the studs within a 2x6 construction wall on a extremely sturdy built building. The mount was within a foot the building corner and a few inches down from the ceiling. The vibration on the medium and high settings shook the wall hard enough to make it sound as if a helicopter was in the lawn. Called Air King (Lasko sub) this morning. They are shipping me a new blade under warranty. I have to take the brand new fan apart to change out the blade assembly. The fan shroud also had rusty spots from where it missed getting painted. If the replacement blade fixes the vibration, I'm sure the fan will work well. -UPDATE- Got new blade. Problem was the motor assembly. Now trying to get replacement fan (what they should have sent the first time).
Given the heavy duty construction, it should be a very robust fan
Quality - painting, fan balancing, pull cord extension was cotton string.
