Perfect for my needs.
Tuesday, August 09, 2011When working in the Commercial and Institutional HVAC field, especially when troubleshooting DDC panels and controls, a good meter is a must. The U1272A handles this need with ease. The only thing better would be a meter that included accurate low ohm scale - say 0 to 5 or 10 ohms.
Nice meter!
Sunday, June 19, 2011Nice meter, finally some competition for the Fluke 87V. =) Also, Agilent has released an updated version of the firmware and is providing a complementary U1173A IR-USB PC connectivity cable (until Nov 30, 2011) for uploading new firmware. Looks great, has a solid feel, seems to be built well.
The "beep" is too loud, kinda annoying when it turns on. You can adjust the Hz of the tone at least. Not a huge problem.
