Description
The Ventamatic Cool Attic CX1000AM Roof Mount Power Attic Ventilator comes factory assembled for easy installation and is built for stability and to be high wind resistant. The rugged galvanized steel, low profile dome comes with a mill, steel finish. Galvanized steel mesh grille protects against birds, insects and rodents yet allows adequate air intake. This Cool Attic ventilator features a thermally protected motor engineered to run cool for long, dependable life and precision balanced 14 inch fan blades for minimum vibration and no heat distortion. Includes an adjustable thermostat. Capable of moving air up to 1,080 cubic feet per minute, enough for a 1,600 square foot attic.
The Ventamatic CX1000AM is suitable for roofs with a pitch up to 8/12 (33.69 degrees). Anchors along six points for stability and wind resistance. Requires a minimum 600 square inches NFA (net free area) of intake ventilation. Inadequate intake ventilation will lead to motor failure.
