Designed to contain internal explosions without causing an external hazard for Type 7 Class 1, Division 1 and 2, Groups A, B, C, and D gases or vapors. Type 9 Class 2, Division 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G. Normally closed valves close when de-energized. Normally open valves open when de-energized.
