- Microcentrifuge racks are made of sturdy polypropylene, with molded-in coordinates to aid organization. Pkg. of 5. 80-well racks are fraction collector plate style, to easily fill and transfer tubes in a compact arrangement. 11L560 is excellent for pre- or post-polymerase chain reaction (PCR ) sampling. It holds individual tubes or strips of 8 or 12 tubes. Removable hinged lid lies flat when closed to secure samples. 11L554 and 11L556 are reversible. Small-side wells are separated by easy-to-find molded-in grid lines. Large-side wells are surrounded by raised rings to make tubes easier to remove. Handy lid snaps into place at the end tabs.
