- Polishing bonnets and pads remove swirls on clearcoat, gelcoat, and most finishes. Produce medium- to high-gloss finish. Compound bonnets and pads are for deep cleaning and compounding. Remove 1500 to 2000 scratches. Produce low- to medium-gloss finish.
