Toilet supply lines with a metal nut are hard to find but are a necessity to protect your home. 99.9% of toilet supply lines have a plastic nut and are one of the major causes of water damage claims as many have a poorly placed seam that will crack over time. I had one completely fail and two others with cracks after only four years. I've sinced replaced them all with these metal nut equipped lines. Think about - every other of supply line in your home has a metal nut - why shouldn't the toilet?
