My first choice

The fence testers work much better than much more expensive ones. Sometimes simpler is better.

Light is bright enough to see in bright sun.

No need to do anything different. I ordered four -- one for every rig.

This is a great tester for electric fences. The lead wire is a bit short so I cut/solder in a couple of extra feet and then it's perfect for my needs.

Works good, easy to use.

Longer lead wire.
