Problems With Cracked Plastic Housing
Thursday, December 29, 2011The product itself worked just fine, but either in shipping or in assembly the plastic housing on the control end of the unit got cracked. I originally ordered two units; both came with cracks in the plastic housing. One had three cracks, one had just one big crack. They promptly sent me out two replacements, and of those one of them was also cracked in the same place. They then said they wouldn’t ship any more, and they refunded the cost of one of the units back to me. That’s too bad, as I’d much rather have an intact heater than the money. Other than that, the customer service was very prompt and professional. It’s just a shame that the actual manufacturer didn’t do a better job of either packing for shipping, or have better QA/QC during construction.
They work exactly as advertised, and do a great job of putting heat right where we need it. Very quiet. Not for heating large spaces, but excellent for smaller areas

Tuesday, December 27, 2011Perfect for under my desk in an office where the 1500 watt heaters throw the circuit breaker. I searched and searched for a low watt heater. I would suggest the plastic feet be upgraded. I have only had my heater a few weeks and already one of the plastic feet has cracked making the heater unstable. I will contact customer support to see what can be done to replace them.

Improve the design of the plastic feet that hold the heater upright. One of the plastic feet broke within a few weeks of use

Great concept. Received promptly - I appreciate that.
This heater shuts off on it's own accord. In moving it around, it comes on and off. I believe there is some kind of short in the wiring.
Heat For my Feet
Tuesday, September 20, 2011I bought this because it was the only one our company allowed us to have (being honest here). It heats up my feet under my desk nicely. I can adjust the setting so it maitains an even temp. It does get hot to the touch and I am not sure if the caution light is suppose to come on or not but so far it hasn't. It is not winter yet but so far the heat output seems to be fine. BTW this was delivered fast!!! Ordered it Wednesday night and I had it on Friday afternoon!

Sunday, December 19, 2010I ordered this heater a couple of weeks ago and have been using it since. I was disappointed when the item first arrived because it had obviously been previously opened and used. I wondered why it had been purchased and returned. But, I can say that I am happy with the heater after using it. It sure won't heat an entire room, but is quite and efficient for our purpose.
Completely quiet, very low energy draw
I wish it would have been described as a refurbished or returned item. It was not delivered brand new.

Friday, December 10, 2010Bought this for under a desk at our office. Works great! And the customer service has been awesome: the first one we received had hairline crack at the bottom of the control panel. They sent us another one and said not to bother sending the first one back.
Very thin design to fit under desk. Heats quickly. Temperature changes quickly in response to turning control. Simple, easy to use controls., attractive, safe.

Friday, September 17, 2010I ordered this product because I wanted an energy efficient heater to place under my desk. This product is perfect for that. It is completely silent and warms my small space within 15 minutes. The unit does get hot to the touch, so use around small children is not recommended. Best of all, this was ordered, shipped and received in less than 24 hours...even with the free standard shipping! Now THAT'S service! Drillspot.com will be my first stop in the future.
