Good Purchase
Tuesday, April 17, 2012So far, works very well. Sturdy and heats the room nicely. Just turn it on a little while before you want to feel the warmth...it doesn't blow heat on you!
Best Electric Heater So Far
Thursday, December 22, 2011Since we're not advancing in heater technology that much, you take what you can get concerning efficiency. This heater really works well. Radiant heat is the best and this one does the job. Keeps the room warm. Try setting it on "low" and turn the thermostat half-way down AFTER the heater reaches full heat value. Uses very little electricity at this setting. Heating the oil inside the unit is really the key to its efficiency.
Radiant heat heats the furniture, walls, etc, which helps retain heat
Unit could be offered in larger size manufactured with additional fins
