Instructions tell you to keep the heater at least 3 feet from flammables, but you can barely feel the heat at 2 feet.
Not happy with it.
I expected that the radiant heat could be felt at least 4 or 5 feet away.

This is a great heater to supplement the heat in a room. It works best in my home office which is 11 x 10. I also use it in my bedroom which is much larger and it raises the temperture in there nicely. At night I have the themostat drop the temp in the house to 65 F but the room stays aournd 70 F. My cats love the radiant heat and lay in front of it. The only draw back is that the surface gets a bit hot. Not enough to burn you if you brush it but it probably would burn you if you held your hand on it for any length of time. I haven't mounted it to a wall since I move it around. I'm thinking it would work much better if the convection current was stronger like it would be wall mounted.
Puts out an even amount of heat.
It could be a little lighter and come with a template for hanging it on a wall. Surface gets very hot.
