Briggs Generator 30207
Thursday, February 09, 2012Got the generator fine. Set it up pretty quickly. Put fuel in, leaked out because the fuel line that wasn't tightened from the factory. Gas everywhere. Tried to start it with the electric start, battery was dead...real dead not chargable. Briggs replaced it. Start it up, and oil and smoke poured out of the exhaust. Oil everywhere. Called Briggs, and they recommended I bring it into an authorized repair shop. Tests out ok. Briggs told the repair shop that this machine smokes at start up normally. Really, never heard of anything like this. Great machine design, and features are great, not so happy with the problems from the start. I'll have to see how it proves itself over time.
AVR, twin V engine is very quiet, starts on first pull, 10000 watts to light up my entire panel
QUALITY CONTROL!
New England Outage
Thursday, November 17, 2011We have not had to use it yet but it did arrive quickly and we hope that we don't have to use it but we feel much better that we are prepared for another 6 days without power. Looking for an electrician to get it hard wired into our current heating system for zero downtime this winter.
Customer service did a great job telling me where the generator was and weather conditions that prevented shipment
Nothing. Looks like a powerful moster in our garage that will provide power due to New England conditions
