Tuesday, April 26, 2011This inferior SD is fabricated in Mexico. It is sloppy, the ground screw hole was not threaded, the faceplate holes did not match the box threads and the faceplate is so mis-stamped that you have to bang the breaker to get it to fit into the cutout it was intended to mate with. Buy if there is no other viable choice. On the plus side, the breaker does fit the inside of the box well, the size is perfect for devices needing three phase protection near the device, it was not astronomically over-priced as most SD products are and after 30 minutes of tweaking and tapping, it performed nicely.
It ultimately worked for its intended purposed
Make it in the USA by skilled labor.
