- Motor-quality low-friction, 52100 chrome steel industrial ball bearings are suitable for radial and thrust load applications that require precise low-torque rotation. Use flanged bearings for easier plate mounting. Noncontact, stainless steel shields reduce contamination without adding drag. Light-contact rubber seals protect the bearing, but with slightly higher drag. All are lubricated with general-purpose grease.

Tuesday, October 18, 2011The product was delivered as specified. My intended use for the Radial Bearing - 17 mm was to construct a Fishing Rod Spine Finder. The bearings received were too tight (rotation of inner race) for my application. So the it would be unfair to rate them as anything but good. The service and expedient shipping with Drillspot was outstanding. The part shipped for free and I received it within one day - Unbelievable! More Internet sellers need to do the same. I will use Drillspot for all future parts procurements when applicable. Keep up the no cost and expedient shipping.

Thursday, May 05, 2011As expected the bearings were high quality and I'm sure they will last. The Chinese junk I bought previously lasted about 30 hours run time and burned up.
