Cheaply made
Thursday, August 18, 2011We ordered these Battalion hangars and tracks for a couple of sliding doors in our house. The 4 bolt holes on the L-plate were not aligned/square, the plate was tweaked so that it did not sit flush against the door panel, and the track hangar snapped in half when we tried to fit it on the track (yes, that was also bent out of shape so we had to manually pull it apart). It does what it needs to do in terms of hanging a door, but the quality is quite poor. It's also very noisy to operate. The nylon bearings do not do much to dampen the sound. For a more finished door, I would go with something a little more polished even if it's meant to look industrial. The quality of this is disappointing. Should've known from the "made in china" notation.
