Quality Starrrett punch
Saturday, January 08, 2011This punch has a knurled surface on a good sized grip. The shaft has a good, flat end with nice square egdes.
Does the job and should last for a long time if taken care of. It replaced one broken by a careless friend who tried to used the 1/8" punch as a pry bar. When I looked it up online, I was surprised to still be able to buy one. Now my S248 set is complete again.
Nothing. It's a classic. Exactly the same as one I got 50 years ago! Why change a design that works.
