Flex hone, great for DIYers
Tuesday, June 16, 2009Even though I accidentally got the wrong size for my bore size (Make sure to get the same size as your bore, these are made oversized 1.50"=1.50" flex hone. Some people will tell you to get one that's bigger..not true.) it still worked out fine. I just didn't run the drill as long as I would have with the right size one.
No need to send it to a machine shop.
If you're not careful..you can over hone a bore and take too much material off.
