Customer Reviews
Worked fine for 2 summers then died
Saturday, June 08, 2013This fan was fantastic for 2 summers but died this spring when we had a few warm days.
Worked great when it worked
Could last longer than 2 summers use
stopped working after only 15 months
Wednesday, May 01, 2013the fan worked well. it was noisy but that didn't bother me because it did the job well of expelling hot attic air. Today I came home and found the fan off. It only been in operation for 15 months but it broke. unless there is some kind of trip switch that I need to reset i think the thing is dead and I am very disappointed and hoping to get a replacement asap at no charge or inconvenience to myself
Good Product
Tuesday, May 15, 2012We had already previously purchased the same fan two years ago and decided we needed a second one for our upstairs after last summer's usually hot summer. The fan was a much better price than my previous purchase!
It works well and fits our windows
Ok...But Disappointed
Tuesday, October 04, 2011I have this fan for upstairs and the 9166 downstairs. Supposedly this fan on high is about 2500cfm, which is the same as the 9166 on low. No way. The 9166 on low pulls way more air than this on high. I bought this because of that spec. I don't know if my fan has a problem with friction though because on low is has a sound like resistance in the motor and it doesn't move much air at all like it can barely work. Just a warning about the cfm ratings.
Window mounting
Move more air, quality
Fan Review
Monday, August 15, 2011Was some cosmetic shipping damage. Cord end and brand logo on fan.
Easy to mount
Plastic blades do not seem to be effective against negative wind pressure
For Use In Garage
Thursday, June 16, 2011I bought the 20 inch for the attic and the 16 inch for my garage. The difference in temperature that these fans have made is amazing! They arrived within one week from the time that I ordered them. I could not use the screws that came with the fans because they were not sturdy enough. Overall, I am please with this purchase.
Easy to handle, reversible
Stronger screws
Would Recommend
Tuesday, August 24, 2010The installation instructions were not clear, and it was difficult to install in a second story window. The exhaust did not seem to significantly remove the hot air from the inside.
It really blows the cool air in at night. Very quiet!
Better installation instructions
Air King 9155 Review
Tuesday, May 25, 2010Great shipping speed. Best price on the internet.
Light, easy to install
The fan is not balanced and wobbles slightly when on
This Is A Real Fan
Monday, July 27, 2009I had reservations about spending $90 on a fan, but after a few seconds of letting this thing run I had no regrets. Works great. Is very quiet on low and medium speeds. On high it is a little louder but this thing moves some serious air. I would strongly recommend this fan.
Quiet, works great
The switch is a little cheezy
