PosiTector UTG Standard Multiple Echo Ultrasonic Thickness Gage

The PosiTector UTG Standard Multiple Echo Ultrasonic Thickness Gage measures the wall thickness of materials such as steel, plastic and more using ultrasonic technology and is ideal for measuring the effects of corrosion or erosion on tanks, pipes or any structure where access is limited to one side. The DeFelsko UTGM1-E is a thru-paint model also capable of measuring the metal thickness of a painted structure without having to remove the coating.

The DeFelsko UTGM1-E features an enhanced one-handed menu navigation, large easy-to-read LDC display, pre-programmed velocities allow you to select from a list of common materials or enter your own with ease. Precision ultrasonic transducers provide fast, accurate readings. Meter body is durable, solvent, acid, oil, water and dust resistant. USB and IR ports allow for fast, simple connection to a PC or data collector. Internal gauge memory stores up to 10,000 readings in up to 1,000 batches. Built-in clock will date and time stamp each stored measurement. Also features a 5 MHz contact probe with Alumina tip and two echo modes to toggle between; multiple echo mode to eliminate coating thickness and single echo mode to detect pits and flaws and to increase the measurement range.
