- Open drums are for transport of leaking or damaged containers. Covers are EPDM-gasketed and secured with bolt or lever lock ring closures. Yellow drums with red cover and multilingual "Salvage Drum" logo.
- Lined drums have a modified phenolic coating that resists corrosion and chemical reactivity. Unlined drums have been treated with a mild rust inhibitor.
