Description
- Dry, electrolytic, nonpolarized capacitors are designed for normal intermittent service on single-phase AC motor starting circuits. Round, molded cases protect the capacitor from oil, dirt, moisture, and grease.

Just the thing that my motor needed
Thursday, September 02, 2010This is a part that most people will never need. But it's hard to find it when you do - and when you do find it, it's usually over-priced. I was so glad to find someone who was selling this at a decent price (I bought 2 of these plus shipping for less the price of 1 everywhere else). Sure, it's fun to haggle and to bid on items at auction sites, but I just want to buy what I need at a fair price. This capacitor fit perfectly and performed like it should. Easy to swap out with the old one (considering the motor was ~20 years old makes me very happy).
This is an exact match for the one of mine that failed - so it was no effort to replace the old one. This would have been a big problem if the outside diameter was different (bigger or smaller). I was expecting some difficulty but in less than 2 minutes I had my motor up and running again.
If you read the review and what I liked, there isn't anything that could be better. The price was great, and it performs it's job perfectly. I have no complaints.
