Dewalt Tablesaw StandMonday, December 28, 2009
I bought this stand to mount my Bosch 4100 table saw on. The Bosch stand was very highly rated but this one seemed sturdier and easier to set up and take down. Less money, too! I was worried that my saw would not fit even though the listing said mounting was "universal". No problem! The Bosch fit perfectly. The stand is VERY stable, yet folds easily for portability. The removable mounting rails are a great idea if I wanted to use my saw on a workbench or another situation where the stand was not needed, just un-clip and remove it! I feel I bought the right stand for my saw even though I was originally going to buy the more expensive Bosch stand. DrillSpot's price beat everyone else's (considerably!)and I have not figured out how they shipped it (FREE!) so fast-bought Sunday night, received Tuesday morning! And 3 days before Christmas, too!
Easy setup, Very well built. Very sturdy.
None so far.
Great Stand!!!Wednesday, July 15, 2009
Stand is great to make your table saw portable. Universal mounting brackets that should mount to most any 10" table saw. I have the 10" Dewalt saw mounted to it. Very sturdy and well designed. Stand is flipped up on end then legs fold in for compact storage. If you choose to remove the saw from the stand it can be removed quickly and the brackets mounted to the saw have rubber feet to use on any surface to keep the saw from sliding or to protect the surface it's set down on. Very stable, a great product from a great tool company. Price is reasonable for this quality stand I feel. The only thing I would have liked to have seen would have been Steel hub wheels with bearings rather then the plastic hub wheels but everyone tries to cut costs somewhere. We'll have to see how long they last over time. This is only my opinion!
Heavy Duty, Folding legs, Wheels, compact for out of the way storage.
No cons that I've found so far. Dewalt makes great tools!
