- Pumps have continuous-duty motors for high-flow or high-head applications, and mechanical seals and side and bottom housing drain plugs. Designed for general transfer, boiler feed, condensate return, water circulation, irrigation, cooling towers, filtration, and pressure boosting. 1-phase motors are capacitor start and have internal thermal protection. 3-phase units do not have overload protection and require a pump control box, sold separately on page 4048. Pedestal pumps can be driven by pulley or directly coupled to a motor.
