Condor Pressure Switch, 80-100 PSI, 1Port

I needed to replace a factory pressure switch on an air compressor with one that is rated to 30 amps due to a motor replacement. I replaced a factory 2 hp motor with a Baldor 3 hp 110 volt that lists @ 27 amps. I chose this Condor model listed as 30 amp with a single port since I did not require it to be utilized as a manifold. The switch is of a modular design which indicates the mechanical device has the ability to use a variety of contacts. The included literature is not clear and references to other supporting documents should be included to make it usable for reference without the need to research further. After visiting Condor's website I find the MDR3 is a three phase switch and the highest amperage listed is 24 amps. The MDR21 is also a 24 amp switch which I have used but cannot seem to locate them anymore. This switch features larger springs than the MDR21 and with it's modular features the contacts can be replaced should that become necessary. This switch is factory set at 100 psi and so far has operated well. The unloader valve is also replaceable and it too has worked perfectly. I think this was a good purchase of a well built heavy duty pressure switch and I would recommend it to anyone needing to replace a switch from 110 volts on up. Additionally the third contact gives me a spare ( just in case )!
