Steel Doors
- Combine the extra strength of steel construction with the added safety of UL fire rating to offer outstanding security. Steel face sheets are supported by kraft honeycomb core for exceptionally flat surfaces with high structural resistance to impact damage. Core has thermal insulation U-factor of 0.41. 1-3/4"-thick door is nonhanded and comes with a UL fire label. Prime painted and closer reinforced with 3 each of 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" x 0.134" or 0.180" hinge preparations. Door available with either a Government 161 cylindrical lock prep with 2-3/4" backset, or an 86 mortise lock prep with a 2-3/4" backset and full escutcheon plate trim cutout. Doors with glass have a 1/4"-thick clear wire glass with safety film.
