- Coupling Inserts
- JE inserts are 1-pc. solid EPDM rubber. JES inserts are 1-pc. EPDM rubber with a split in the material at 1 point. E inserts are 2-pc. EPDM rubber held together with a retaining ring. H inserts are 1-pc. molded Hytrel .
- Couplings help to protect equipment from misalignment, vibration, and shock loads. Rubber-in-shear design. No lubrication is required. A complete coupling consists of 2 flanges and 1 insert, sold separately.
- Temp. range: -65 to 275 F (-54 to 135 C)
- Max. angular misalignment: 1 with EPDM rubber inserts, 1/4 with H inserts.
