CPVC and PVDF Vertical Pumps
- Corrosion-resistant nonmetallic construction eliminates metal contact with pumped fluids, and related contamination and corrosive reactions. Twin-impeller design minimizes entrained air and maintains a dynamic seal, while the close-coupled design eliminates need for additional couplings and motor alignment. Fume barrier helps keep corrosive vapors from escaping into the atmosphere or damaging motors. Oversized, double-sealed ball bearings. 115V motors are supplied with manual On/Off switch and 7-ft., 3-prong plug. 230V models are bare lead. FNPT volute allows an extended pipe to be connected for complete tank transfers. CPVC pipe and fittings are available on pages 4276, 4277; PVDF (Kynar ) pipe and fittings are available on page 4283. Typically used in chemical processing, tank recirculation/transfer, plating, water/wastewater treatment, and spray cleaning booth applications.
