- STI brand SSS model multiviscosity formula has 2-stage intumescence for extremely fast expansion. LCI model is acoustically test11ed to reduce noise transmission. 3M brand bonds to concrete, metal, wood, plastic, and cable jacketing. Formula dries tack-free in 10 to 15 min.; paintable after 72 hr. CPV compatible.
- Material expands when exposed to heat or fire. Can be applied to vertical or overhead surfaces. Easy installation, cleanup, and disposal. Nonhalogen formula requires no mixing. Paintable, sag-resistant sealants remain flexible.
