I'm giving up on this pump
Wednesday, June 01, 2011I've tried this pump twice to power a statue in my fountain. The first time the pump shorted outed after about 18 months. The second time the rotor rusted off after about eight months.
It could last a lot longer
Pool winter cover pump
Tuesday, November 09, 2010I bought this pump because I used a D battery type pump to pump water off my pool winter cover, (lots of batteries used and couldn't use it when it got cold). I researched pumps before I chose what I wanted to buy. This pump is submersible and liquid cooled thermally protected, so people should consider those factors in a pump. Also, it came from a reputable company and replacement parts can be ordered for it. For me this pump is perfect and I highly recommend it to others.
Specifications and performance
A lower price and maybe a short 3' hose that can be attached to a garden hose.
