Thursday, December 02, 2010My gas furnace uses the Honeywell Q3400A1024 igniter flame rod assembly. My Research on maintaining the furnace advised keeping a spare igniter on hand due to the failure rate of this item. My furnace is almost ten years old,so to be on the safe side, I decided to purchsae one to have on hand just in case. Since I have ,thus far,not had a need to install it, I am unable to rate its performance.This review is primarily to express my total satisfaction with the process of obtaining it.The item is a Honeywell OEM part with a price tag as high as $117.00.The Drillspot price was under $50.00 including shipping. Some prices were lower but they were aftermarket devices. The item was received three days after placing the order,with prompt confirmation/tracking/etc,in between. I am very pleased with the service rendered during this purchase and I look forward to doing business with them again.
