Touchscreen Thermostat, 3H, 2C, 7 Day Prog

An easily programmable and readable thermostat!

This is a clean looking 7 day programmable thermostat that is easily seen!! It is easy to program with a great touchscreen and made by a great manufacturer. Honeywell does state, however, that this thermostat should be installed by a licensed contractor even though it is easily installed. It seems to be quite accurate.

Delivery was quick and the price was good. The thermostat was exactly as advertised and is working well after a couple of weeks of service.

Thermostat Good So Far

This thermostat was bought to replace a broken 20-year old model. The replacement was successful, and the unit is performing well. My only constructive comments have to do with my DIY installation challenges: Because the installation book tries to consider numerous product replacement scenarios, I found it a bit confusing. However, good news is that the thermostat's back panel is so well laid out and marked that I could determine proper wiring - just comparing to the old unit's link-ups. Also, the new unit's mounting holes matched the old ones perfectly, so no new holes or drilling were needed.

Great

This is a great product. I bought a different thermostat and had to return it because it was not compatible with my system. I have a 2 stage heater and a regular AC. I had to go to justanswers.com to figure out how to wire it, as the color coding did not match. I wish I would have bought the version with the dehumidifying; I thought it was meant to control a central dehumidifier so it would not be useful for for me but what it does is run your AC longer to maintain your humidity below a certain level. I really need this since I had the brilliant idea of installing foam insulation in the attic. Now my AC size is out of match for the house and we are having humidity problems in the attic.

The Perfect Thermostat

When moving, our new home had traditional thermostats and after having a great experience with the VisionPro 8000 in our prior residence we went on the search for two more. We found this thermostats features and ease of installation and use to be outstanding - specifically the circulate air feature and tempurature scheduling opitions.

Programmable Thermostat Review

I bought 2 of these for our new office location. It is the same model as in the old office. Reduces the learning curve. They were shipped quickly and worked perfectly upon installation.

Bought An Updated Version

I've used the previous version of this model for six years without any problem whatsoever. I upgraded to this model to take advantage of the newer Daylight Saving Time after 2007. Setup was super simple, just follow the settings on the old device. Documentation for setup and owners manual is very good and there's a toll free number for tech support. I highly recommend this thermostat.

Vision Pro 8000

I didn't pick this model out. There was a mix-up with the local utility company about the ability of their thermostat to control a newly installed heat pump. So, I needed quickly replace the the temporary loaner the HVAC installers left. I just went looking for the exact same model to do a quick swap. The thermostat works just fine. There are many tech options you can set for how it interfaces with your system. It is very easy to program. You can make a temporary adjustment to the set temp and tell it when to cancel that. Nice if you just need it warmer or coooler for an hour or so. The thermostat seems to be driving the heating system just fine. No idea about AC yet.

Install It Yourself

Excellent thermostat with more options than most folks need. Installation necessitated a call to Honeywell to compare letter codes for older thermostat wires with new codes on this unit. Honeywell very helpful and installation went without a hitch. Approx 1 hour to install after reading the manual. This is the second one I have bought as I liked the first one I had on another heat pump unit.
