Tuesday, January 17, 2012The thermostat requested arrived well packaged and the delivery period was fast. The thermostat is very easy to install and very intuitive to use with the help of the installation manual. The manual itself is not as helpful, but the installation manual is must keep resource for future reference. I had two thermostats installed by a professional AC service provider to avoid nullifying the 5 year warranty. If you have enough patience and some diy know-how, you can easily install the units yourself. The seven day programming option is excellent, and the temperature sensor is very sensitive to the room temperature. I like very much that it does not start my ac/heater immediately when the temperature goes below the desired temperature setting. Instead it usually waits a few minutes before it prompts the system to start. This helps to prevent wear on the AC/Heater system. Overall, I am quite pleased with the flexibility of the seven day programming as well as the bonus of programming it to tell you when to change both the air filters and the humidifier panel filter.

Tuesday, October 04, 2011This stat can do anything you want and is relatively easy to understand and operate. The "circulate" fan function is very useful for moving air through the house without having to leave the fan on all of the time.
Easy to install, program, and operate. Nice screen layout.
It would be nice if the relay didn't make a clicking noise when it is turning the air on, but most thermostats seem to do this.

Very easy to program and change.(especially for me- I am a woman who is not very good with buttons, wires, programs..etc) I own 6 of them, for my businesses and home! Display panel is easy to read and not tiny letters. Love the touch screen. Its attractive appearance makes it easy for me to locate them where I need to.

Tuesday, May 17, 2011This is my second thermostat like this one. We sold our house with the first one, and one of the first things we did in our new house was purchase another one to install in it. I love it!
This thermostat keeps an even temperature. It doesn't stay on too long before it goes off, and it doesn't wait a long time before it comes on again. It keeps an even, comfortable temperature. Also, it is very easy to program.

I love the fact that you can detach it from the wall very easily and sit down on the couch and program! Makes it so nice. Another great feature is that you can select several or all days of the week and program them all at once!

It took us a little while to figure out how to activate the autochangeover feature. Turns out the instructions are in the installation guide instead of the user manual. We couldn't be happier with our purchase. Drillspot delivered our order very quickly...no complaints.

I also purchased the optional backplate...which helped make it look complete. Drillspot delivered on time and in perfect shape. At a good price.

Wednesday, January 12, 2011I got this gift for my boyfriend for Christmas. He absolutely loved it! We have exotic shrimp in the house that require to be at a certain temperature and it keeps the home at just the right temperature all day long. :0) I would definitely refer this to someone else.

Thursday, December 09, 2010It will not save you money if you have a heat pump. Heat pumps are not designed to go up and down on your temperature settings. This myth about programmable t-stats is a flat out lie. I'm not just saying this because I have one but because I am an HVAC tech and know how heat systems work.
