Worked perfect to replace PC8900
Sunday, May 08, 2011I had the previous generation of this product which is now obsolete. The IAQ is a direct replacement with the control box. Installation was simple and the wiring was identical except for 3 wire vs 4 wire thermostat connection. Nearly everything worked without a hitch, except for the old outside temperature sensor. It appears they have a new one for this box that has a similar number as the old one, but has a completely different temperature profile, so I just disconnected it.
Simple installation, works great
The old one had an LED on the thermostat that lit when the furnace was one, so was easy to see it cycling. Not so obvious on the LCD display, but not such a big deal.
