Excellent crimper/strippers, but....
Sunday, November 14, 2010I've been using the T&B WT2000 strippers/crimpers since 1992, it was great then, still the same great tool today. Have owned 3 different sets over the years, LOVE them except for one flaw they are plagued with that Thomas & Betts has yet to rectify. The plastic handles easily come off. Especially annoying when giving a good firm crimp and the handle slides off during the squeeze. Over time those handles do crack and then slip off more frequently. If that issue was addressed, there would be no down side to these. Regardless, I am purchasing another set as it seems no other manufacture has an equivalent quality or user friendly crimper/stripper out.
Very user friendly, great lay out, overall good design.
As mentioned it he review, change the handles to not slide off and be less prone to cracking/breakage.
