- Housing Materials
- Highly resistant to many caustics and a wide variety of nonaggressive water-based liquids.
- Easily pump slurries, solvents, and high-viscosity liquids such as paints and waste oils. Sandpiper pumps feature all-bolted construction and abrasion- and corrosion-resistant materials. Free-standing support base is useful in portable applications. Ingersoll-Rand/ARO pumps are constructed of highly fatigue- and abrasion-resistant materials. Air-pressure air valve design helps prevent stalling. Dayton pump bodies are injection-molded and structurally reinforced with a fiber fill. Spring-assisted air valve has proprietary seal rings that never require lubrication.
